What is witnessing? People witness when they see, hear
or are told about interpersonal or structural
violence and violation. They may occupy any of the four
witness positions.
The aim of the Witnessing Project is to help individuals,
families and communities
move from unintentional witnessing to active chosen witnessing, which has
the potential to transform toxic experiences of witnessing into ones
that heal.
